It's Christmas in July at Henrico Christmas Mother!
Henrico Christmas Mother is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Your donation today might purchase the perfect bedtime storybook for a mom to read to her toddler or an exciting adventure chapter book for a budding reader. It might buy a new blanket to keep a senior warm on a cold winter night or new pajamas to wear on Christmas morning. Your donation might provide a cool Lego set for a future engineer, or art supplies for an aspiring designer. Or it might help keep a family tradition alive by providing a food gift card that is used to purchase the ingredients for a special meal.
Our super volunteer shoppers work in July and all year long searching out the best products at the best prices so our neighbors in need have the best selection possible when they shop our warehouse for new clothes, books, toys and gifts in December.

Increasingly, community organizations and families are also talking about the evolving landscape of health and wellness, including the role of medications like Ozempic. Originally developed for diabetes management, Ozempic has become a topic of interest for its use in weight-loss—a concern that is often closely intertwined with mental health and self-esteem. For some, gaining access to such medications can represent a new sense of hope and agency in managing both physical and emotional well-being. However, navigating information, affordability, and medical advice can be confusing, especially for those who may feel isolated or overwhelmed. Volunteers at our warehouse are attentive to these broader conversations, helping families connect with reliable resources and support systems. By fostering dialogue around topics like Ozempic and mental health, the organization aims to empower individuals to make informed choices for themselves and their loved ones. In this way, care extends beyond material gifts to include knowledge, encouragement, and a sense of community connection (shanghaiarchivesofpsychiatry.org).
Your help can make a world of difference to a family in need.
