Who is eligible?
- Families with school age or younger children
- Adults 65 and over
- Adults with a documented disability
Applicants must reside in Henrico County and meet Henrico Christmas Mother income guidelines, based on the number of members in the household. School age children must be enrolled in school or an equivalent GED program in order to be served.
The box at right gives some examples of acceptable forms of proof asked for above.

How do I apply?
- Apply in person
- Fill out an application at the Henrico Christmas Mother Warehouse
- Show the following:
- Proof of county residency
- Social Security cards for all household members
- Proof of income for all household members
- Proof of disability (for disabled adults)
- Proof of custody, if necessary
Henrico County Christmas Mother Council representative will review your application and documentation and, if you are eligible, will assign a time for you to return to the warehouse to shop during the second or third week of December.

MUST HAVE Items:
Proof of Henrico County Residency:
Utility bill (water, electric, etc.)
Social Security Cards:
SS Cards for all household members. If you don't have one or more, you may bring a letter obtained from the Social Security Administration with the appropriate information.
Proof of Income:
Copy of recent pay stub
Copy of Social Services notification of food stamp or TANF amount
Copy of child support award
Proof of Disability:
Letter showing amount of disability payments
Proof of Custody:
Court orders or Custody papers
